Bernie sports racing and V8 is well known as a series for enthusiastic's seeking the old school thrill of competition. The series is open to original reproduction and replica 2-seater sports cars GT, Saloon and muscle cars spanning the 1950s through to the early 1990s. The original silhouette must be preserved however specification bonnet scoops, wide arches, deeper front air dams and fixed spoilers may be fitted. Engines and transmissions are free but must remain in their original location and sequential gearboxes are not permitted. Slicks are not allowed but wet tyres are free.
